#1 Mobile-first indexing will arrive in 2018.

This information, coupled with the fact that 53% of readers abandon mobile websites that take longer than 3 seconds to load, shows that publishers must focus on providing blazingly fast experiences even on poor connections. Slow speeds and intermittent connectivity should not be a barrier to reaching your audience.

#4 We have a need for speed, and this will continue to grow.
Mobile users demand lightning-quick pagespeed. As readers around the world become more accustomed to faster speeds, capitalizing on performance pays off for publishers: mobile sites load in 5 seconds earn up to 2x more mobile ad revenue than those whose sites load in 19 seconds.
