Smart, a new Amplify post type that chooses the right format

Smart is a new Amplify post type that chooses the right format for each article: video when the article has one, layout or link preview when it doesn’t.

Picking the format used to mean opening every article, checking what media was available, and choosing manually. Smart removes that step. Set the post type once, and Amplify resolves the right format per article, per channel.

Set the post type to Smart in your feed settings for autopilot, or pick it per post for manual scheduling. Smart then picks the format for each article:

• Articles with a video → native video post, every time
• Everything else, in autopilot → layout post or link preview, picked algorithmically to drive the most engagement for each article
• Everything else, in manual → falls back to the format set in your channel settings

Smart applies to new posts only. Existing scheduled posts stay as they are. Posts published through Smart are tagged automatically, so you can track their performance separately.
