Social monitoring metrics and interaction data

Marfeel collects data from monitored Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok feeds, consolidates the information in real-time, and makes it available for fast, in-depth exploratory analysis.

Marfeel Monitoring only has access to publicly available social post data. It does not access private user engagement metrics.

Marfeel Social Monitoring provides three core metrics to help you identify trends, benchmark content, and refine your social monitoring strategy.

  1. Interactions: Instances when a user engages with a social post, including likes, comments, shares, and bookmarks. Watch the sparkline to spot topics that are spiking or declining so you can act at the right moment.
    • Last 2 Hours / Selected period: All interactions a social post has received in the last 2 hours. Tracking recent interactions helps you determine which topics and posts are still hot and relevant. You can then take this information, including how competitors are covering the topics, and monitor your own posts or try to replicate their success.
    • Total: All interactions a social post has received in your selected timeframe. Sorting by total reveals which topics and posts had the largest overall impact. Setting the timeframe to longer periods, such as 28 days, surfaces evergreen topics that succeeded without being tied to breaking news. You can then replicate that success with your own evergreen content.
  2. Interaction Rate: Interactions divided by the followers of a publisher’s social media account. This metric indicates how engaged and active the follower base of an account is, helping you fine-tune your social strategy.
  3. Video plays: Plays of YouTube and TikTok videos only. Videos posted on Facebook and Instagram are not included. These metrics appear underneath the post title and are subject to the same filters, but do not count towards the Interactions metric.
