Reddit integration setup for social analytics

Marfeel’s Reddit integration imports data from all Reddit posts that mention your articles, giving you real-time engagement metrics including posts, replies, shares, upvotes, and followers. It also enables publishing to the subreddits you manage directly from Marfeel. All collected data is available in the Explore module and Compass playbook, where you can correlate Reddit engagement with social metrics and editorial dimensions.

Set up the Reddit integration

1. Go to the Organization icon in the sidebar and select Integrations. Navigate to the ‘Social’ section.
2. Click on “Connect” inside the Reddit integration box. You will be redirected to Reddit to complete an OAuth process. Click on Allow.
3. You will be shown the list of subreddits you own, as well as the user you authenticated with. You can now enter the names of the different users that you want to consider as own.
4. Check the ‘Logs’ tab for feedback on how many posts are being retrieved, and potential errors. Allow about a minute for data retrieval to begin.

Reddit integration will automatically monitor any post sharing an article that belongs to your account, regardless of the user it was published with or the subreddit it was published in.

Users added to the list will not have posting permissions. To enable more users with posting permission, you will need to set up an integration with each of them, so that they complete an OAuth process, too.
