General Metrics & Dimensions
Marfeel captures first-party data from your users as they visit your website and browse your content. These general metrics and dimensions let you quantify traffic across your entire site and drill down into specific segments using engagement metrics and visitor dimensions.
Metrics
Section titled “Metrics”The following metrics represent total figures across your whole site. You can drill down into these metrics and get figures for specific segments of your traffic using Marfeel’s many dimensions, including those described below. All metrics are subject to the time period of your choice.
Concurrents
Section titled “Concurrents”The total number of engaged users that have actively interacted with your site in the last 5 minutes with actions such as opening a page, scrolling, clicking, moving the mouse, watching videos, listening to audio files, typing, filling out forms, etc. Visit our documentation for more info on Concurrents.
New Articles
Section titled “New Articles”The total number of new articles published on your site within the timeframe of your choice.
Pageviews Total
Section titled “Pageviews Total”The total number of pages viewed by users visiting your site.
Unique Sessions
Section titled “Unique Sessions”The total number of unique web sessions conducted by users visiting your site. For a definition of what constitutes a session, go here.
Unique Users
Section titled “Unique Users”The total number of unique users that have visited your site.
Dimensions
Section titled “Dimensions”Dimensions let you segment the metrics above by specific attributes of your traffic, content, or site structure.
Folder
Section titled “Folder”The first segment in the URL path that represents a directory in the website’s structure. For example example.com/folder/path-to-article
Allows the user to view all sites tracked by Marfeel and break down your traffic and other metrics among them. A Host is a distinct web property, usually denoted by a unique domain name, composed by a subdomain, a root domain, and a top-level domain. For example example.com and sub.example.com.
Page Technology
Section titled “Page Technology”The web technology on which sessions or other traffic metrics were generated. These may be Web, AMP, App among others. Find more about the built-in supported Page Technologies and find out how to add custom ones.
The URL without the Host. Displays all tracked URIs on your site with traffic attributed to them and breaks down traffic metrics among them.
The canonical URL for a page on your site, with no appended parameters.
Original URL
Section titled “Original URL”Any URL accessed by the user in the browser which is not the canonical version. May contain query parameters.

What are concurrents in Marfeel?
Concurrents represent the total number of engaged users who have actively interacted with your site in the last 5 minutes through actions such as opening a page, scrolling, clicking, watching videos, listening to audio, typing, or filling out forms.
What is the difference between unique sessions and unique users?
Unique sessions count the total number of individual browsing sessions on your site, while unique users count the total number of distinct people who visited. A single user can generate multiple sessions.
What is the Host dimension in Marfeel?
The Host dimension lets you view all sites tracked by Marfeel and break down traffic among them. A host is a distinct web property identified by a unique domain name, composed of a subdomain, root domain, and top-level domain.
